Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the primary relationship manager for a mass affluent client portfolio; sell, deliver, and provide ongoing service for retail banking products and fee income solutions.
  • •Establish and maintain understanding of client financial needs through profiling and personal financial planning analysis, and work with investment accounts toward asset allocation and investment objectives.
  • •Stay current on economic, legal, financial planning, investment, and market trends; provide personal financial planning/advisory resource to clients, attorneys, and CPAs.
  • •Meet revenue growth, profitability, and retention goals by developing new clients and expanding services, participating in the sales management process, and monitoring sales activity and pipeline via the contact management system.
  • •Coordinate integrated service across Truist specialists (IRM partners) and serve as an advocate for clients, within audit, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, banking, or equivalent financial services experience and training.
  • •Minimum five years of financial services experience working with clients in banking, investments, and/or retail lending (or one year in a financial client relationship manager role).
  • •Advanced knowledge of personal financial planning/advisory, insurance, investment management, asset allocation, and retail credit/products for mass affluent clients.
  • •Must have active and maintained Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or 63 and 65 in lieu of 66), and applicable insurance licenses (Life, Health, Variable), with required timelines for obtaining/transferring licenses.
  • •Strong interpersonal, sales, and relationship management skills, including strong written, verbal, and presentation skills using Microsoft Office.
