Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and execute overall project plans (budget, schedule, communication, risk management) with monitoring and corrective action.
  • •Build and control budgets, maintain engineering-economic cost estimating, and ensure sub-teams manage their budgets.
  • •Create and monitor schedules, scanning internal and external situations to deliver projects as specified.
  • •Develop preliminary engineering designs, maintain scope to prevent scope creep, and keep leadership informed of needed changes.
  • •Lead multiple teams, provide direction and coaching, develop management routines, and proactively communicate issues with recommended solutions.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or related field) and 8+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • •2+ years of demonstrated experience in team management/development or project leadership.
  • •Knowledge of engineering principles and techniques related to food processing and the meat industry (preferred).
  • •Project Management skills, Contract Administration skills, and ability to interpret national codes and standards.
  • •Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel/Word (Microsoft Office products).
