Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead structured aerospace-segment analyses and translate airspace modernization concepts into avionics capability definitions and trade studies.
  • •Manage new products and services, strategic planning, objectives for large programs, and accountability for workforce operations and customer projects.
  • •Oversee organizational operational performance by managing geographic areas, business segments, product groups, or large programs.
  • •Maintain accountability for full value stream lifecycle business success and associated measures of success.
  • •Serve as chair of the Integrated Project Team (IPT) and manage contract lifecycle elements including cost, schedule, performance, and on-time delivery; manage P&L and major risks.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Aviation, Engineering, Computer Science or related field plus 12 years of progressive experience as an Engineer, Product Manager, or related role within avionics; or master’s degree plus 10 years in avionics.
  • •8+ years designing, developing, and deploying avionics systems.
  • •6+ years leading cross-functional or matrixed teams across multiple disciplines within avionics.
  • •6+ years developing product line investment business cases, new business growth strategies, and annual strategic planning.
  • •4+ years participating in FAA or other aviation industry committees.
