Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Follows safety and quality rules to support the plant safety/quality culture.
  • •Test quality, packaging, and labeling specifications on product coming off the end of line for accuracy.
  • •Train and coach operators and packers on line test methods and specifications.
  • •Coordinate production inspection activities to ensure all lines are tested during manufacturing.
  • •Oversee the quality management system, conduct internal audits, manage nonconforming product disposition, and maintain testing equipment/calibration.

Key Requirements

  • •High school graduation or its equivalent, or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • •Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 (or relevant version) required; internal auditor certification preferred.
  • •Experience with lab testing, with high attention to detail to perform testing accurately and repeatably.
  • •Production or quality control experience with extrusion, flexographic printing, and/or converting processes (plus).
  • •Ability to edit documents for accuracy, establish effective working relationships, and perform duties with minimal direction.
  • •Any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the preferred knowledge, skills and abilities.
