Job Summary

Assist routine engineering and design work at the Engineering & Technology Center in Bangalore to support product lines and global engineering teams. Complete a minimum 3-month training and pilot project program, then deliver engineering and design for industrial equipment (e.g., air compressors, pumps), including custom ETO engineering, CAD/design work, and 3D/2D documentation with PLM releases, cost optimization (VAVE/i2v), and design calculations and risk methods (DFMEA, RCA).

Key Responsibilities

•Support engineering and design responsibilities at the Engineering & Technology Center for diverse product lines and global engineering teams.
•Complete minimum 3 months of training and pilot projects, including product design/development, CAD conversions, lab assignments, manufacturing prints, and bill of material work.
•Perform engineering and design of industrial equipment such as air compressors, power tools, and fluid pumps.
•Conduct custom ETO engineering for compressors and pump packages for process industries (e.g., oil & gas, chemical, power plants).
•Create and release 3D/2D design deliverables and documentation via PLM, and contribute to cost optimization initiatives and design calculations/risk methods (DFMEA, RCA).

Key Requirements

•Engineering graduate/postgraduate with 1 to 3 years of experience, preferably in Mechanical, Industrial, or Automotive Engineering.
•Strong mechanical engineering fundamentals, including design calculations and engineering drawing.
•Knowledge of MS Office Suite; basic coding skills are optional.
•Understanding of AI techniques, including prompt engineering, agents creation, and content generation to improve mechanical system performance and project capabilities.
