Job Summary

Design, build, test, deploy, and support SAP BTP side-by-side extensions for a global SAP S/4HANA transformation. Work across multi-wave implementations to deliver BTP applications, services, workflows, APIs, and integrations using clean-core principles. Collaborate with SAP S/4HANA, Fiori/UI5, integration, security, and testing teams, producing documentation and supporting SIT/UAT, cutover, and hypercare in a structured governance environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and develop SAP BTP side-by-side extensions that support approved business process gaps while preserving clean-core architecture.
•Build BTP applications, services, APIs, workflows, and integration components using approved enterprise architecture patterns.
•Consume SAP S/4HANA released APIs, CDS-based services, OData services, RAP services, and business events in BTP applications and extensions.
•Configure and support BTP connectivity, destinations, authentication/authorization, secure communication, and environment-specific deployments.
•Prepare technical documentation and support SIT/UAT/regression/performance testing, cutover, go-live, hypercare, and knowledge transfer to support/COE teams.

Key Requirements

•6-10 years of overall SAP technical or cloud development experience, including 3-5 years of hands-on SAP BTP development experience.
•Experience in at least one or two SAP S/4HANA implementation/transformation programs using SAP BTP for application development, workflow, APIs, integration, or extensibility.
•Hands-on SAP BTP application and connectivity experience, including destinations, authentication, authorization, role collections, and deployment concepts.
•Strong understanding of extensibility strategy (Key User Extensibility, Developer Extensibility, RAP-based service exposure, and BTP side-by-side extensibility) and Clean Core alignment.
•Experience with BTP workflows/orchestration and integration using REST/OData/APIs, SAP Integration Suite, plus support for testing, deployment, cutover, and hypercare.
