Job Summary

Operate and support wastewater analysis laboratory activities and perform operation and maintenance of wastewater collection, pre-treatment, and full treatment systems. Collect and test samples per EPA, state, and health department regulations, interpret results, and adjust systems to maintain compliance and optimal performance. Complete computerized monthly reporting and maintain operational logs, while performing routine and advanced maintenance and supporting facility upkeep.

•Operate and support wastewater analysis laboratory activities with accuracy and attention to detail.
•Perform operation and maintenance of wastewater collection, pre-treatment, and full treatment systems.
•Collect samples per EPA, state, and health department regulations; conduct chemical analyses and interpret results to maintain performance and compliance.
•Complete computerized reports and compile monthly reporting for permits, regulatory agencies, and internal leadership; maintain operational logs and communicate system status to management.
•Perform routine and advanced maintenance on equipment and systems and support facility upkeep; operate spotter trucks and forklifts as needed.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent.
•1+ year of wastewater or industrial maintenance experience (preferred).
•Basic computer skills with knowledge of Word and Excel.
•Must successfully complete required storm water and industrial waste treatment training/correspondence courses within stated timelines and obtain required entry-level certification within 12 months.
•Must possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to obtain additional certifications and training up to Level A; must meet state regulatory qualification requirements.
