Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and improve authentication and authorization systems powering the platform’s product surfaces.
  • •Own critical auth infrastructure end to end, including login, sessions, token management, service-to-service auth, account security, and access enforcement.
  • •Improve reliability and observability by adding alerting, dashboards, and runbooks to keep access flows healthy.
  • •Identify risks and raise the security bar by strengthening controls and ensuring auth is designed thoughtfully from the start.
  • •Use AI tooling to accelerate work, including writing/reviewing code and automating repetitive tasks.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience building and shipping production backend systems, with experience owning critical services end to end.
  • •Comfort with TypeScript or JavaScript for web-scale applications.
  • •Hands-on experience building authentication, authorization, identity, permissions, security, or similar platform infrastructure.
  • •Strong understanding of API design, distributed systems, databases, and operational reliability.
  • •Strong sense of ownership and urgency, driving clarity and progress even without perfect requirements.
