Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead Emergency Management team, providing services to clients preparing for, responding to, and recovering from disasters nationwide and in US territories.
  • •Manage Emergency Operations Center and/or Field Staging Area operations prior to, during, and post-disaster.
  • •Responsible for ensuring that worksites are safe for workers and comply with applicable regulations.
  • •Attend periodic training throughout the year to maintain deployment eligibility.
  • •Support Emergency Management Project Management functions.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelors degree in Safety, Emergency Management, Public Administration, or similar/related concentration, or equivalent.
  • •Minimum of 5-7 years in a Safety or Emergency Management Leadership role (Response, Recovery or related), or equivalent.
  • •Minimum of 5 years of cumulative safety experience, within the last 10 years, managing or implementing a SOH program on projects similar in industry type, size, and complexity as the project described in the contract scope of work.
  • •24 hours of documented formal classroom or online SOH-related training within the past 5 years and must maintain competency by taking 8 hours every year for the duration of the contract.
  • •Broad knowledge of Safety and Emergency Management principles, methods and techniques. OSHA 30 Construction, General Industry or higher OSHA certification (DOL Wallet Card Required after 90 Days of Course Completion).
