Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the primary journeyman repairer for small arms including pistols, rifles, shotguns, carbines, grenade launchers, submachine guns, mortars, cannons, howitzers, and related accessories.
  • •Perform hands-on maintenance, repair, calibration, and complete overhaul of mechanical weapons systems and electronic components.
  • •Conduct acceptance inspections, disassemble and inspect components, and replace parts according to technical manuals and manufacturer specifications.
  • •Diagnose and solve electronic malfunctions using specialized TMDE; replace defective components and wiring and align, adjust, and calibrate systems to specifications.
  • •Maintain vault security, inventory control, written records, and directly train, mentor, and supervise subordinate gunsmithing personnel.

Key Requirements
