Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide new and sustaining mechanical product engineering from pre-concept commitment through end of life, focusing on cost, quality, and time-to-market.
  • •Collaborate with design, process, test, reliability, and hardware teams to solve problems and drive cost avoidance and quality at FCS.
  • •Lead small-scale mechanical engineering projects (one to two features) with manageable risks and resource requirements, including some project management responsibilities.
  • •Conduct analyses such as DFM/DFA, stack-up tolerance analyses for six sigma quality, and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), and support feasibility and prototyping.
  • •Review and compile BoMs, create and release product documentation, optimize thermal solutions with thermal engineers, and assess CM/supply chain technical capability gaps.
