Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist senior engineers in the design and analysis of traction power distribution systems, including substations, overhead catenary systems (OCS), and third rail systems.
  • •Support development of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment layouts using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation).
  • •Perform calculations related to voltage drop, current flow, and traction power system performance.
  • •Assist with preparation of technical reports, specifications, and construction documents, including as-built drawings and documentation.
  • •Support field inspections/site visits and assist with testing and commissioning of traction power equipment.
