Key Responsibilities

  • •Technically lead the project team for fatigue and damage tolerance evaluations.
  • •Establish damage tolerance philosophies, including allowable damage limits, inspection thresholds, and repeat intervals.
  • •Plan and analyze fatigue tests across all levels to validate theoretical models with real-world data.
  • •Collaborate with Design, Materials, and Stress teams to integrate F&DT requirements into the design phase and ensure compliance with regulatory airworthiness standards.
  • •Investigate structural failures and anomalies to determine root causes, and develop and validate repair schemes and service bulletins.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a Master’s degree / Diploma in Engineering or similar qualifications.
  • •Several years of experience in Fatigue & Damage Tolerance and associated process, methods, and tools.

  • •Fluency in English is mandatory; German is appreciated.
  • •Experience with Hyperworks and Python is a plus.
