Job Summary

Full-time Construction Inspector to oversee and document road and bridge projects in California. You will read plans, ensure compliance with Caltrans standards, measure quantities, inspect traffic control systems, and collaborate with PMCM team to meet client objectives across Antioch and multiple Northern California sites.

Key Responsibilities

•Read and interpret project plans and specifications.
•Monitor construction for compliance with project documents.
•Measure, calculate, and document quantities of installed materials in accordance with client policies and procedures.
•Inspect road and bridge construction (based on Caltrans Standards).
•Review, inspect, and approve traffic control systems, including lane closures, in accordance with Caltrans’ standards and requirements.

Salary: USD 65 - 85 hourly

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma.
•Minimum 5 years of relevant post-education experience in discipline with prior construction inspection experience.
•Valid state driver’s license.
•Highly familiar with construction inspection principles, field inspection practices, process, methods and techniques.
•Highly familiar with relevant construction codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements.
