Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate and monitor a single stick automatic peeling and slicing line, including setup/tear down of metal detectors, casing peelers, and slicers.
  • •Unload sticks from racks, run through automatic peeler, slice pepperoni sticks to customer specifications, and replace blades as needed.
  • •Inspect product for defects and work with QA on consistency and quality of product.
  • •Operate the automatic metal detector and rework all metal-rejected sticks offline.
  • •Gather slice count and other FSQA data as required by the product specification and input into PlantView, while maintaining housekeeping and using required PPE.

  • •6 months work history with the same employer.
  • •6 months of machine operator experience.
  • •Must be willing and able to perform routine repetitive bending and lifting and lift up to 50 pounds at times.
