Key Responsibilities

  • •Design the control, automation, HMI and SCADA systems for substations, ensuring integration with the interconnected system and meeting operator requirements.
  • •Prepare technical equipment requisitions for control gear (IEDs, concentrators, HMI, RTU) and bay unit panels.
  • •Develop functional diagrams, control logic and operating sequences for substations.
  • •Coordinate with the Protection Specialist for integration of protection and control systems (IEC 61850 or equivalent).
  • •Prepare approval documentation for control systems to the transmission operator and participate in FATs and commissioning tests.

Key Requirements

  • •More than 15 years of professional experience, with at least 10 years in control and automation of high-voltage substations
  • •Experience in substation control architectures with IEC 61850 protocol
  • •Knowledge of SCADA systems for transmission substations
  • •Experience with control equipment from recognized manufacturers (ABB, Siemens, Schneider, GE or equivalents)
  • •Knowledge of the automation and telecontrol requirements of the Argentine interconnected system
