Job Summary

Lead the technical strategy for Databricks’ largest Retail and CPG enterprises, partnering with Account Executives to accelerate adoption of ML & AI. Serve as the main technical voice for 1–5 clients, guide customers through transformative evaluations, and implement solutions aligned to account strategy. Work with hands-on resources to drive proofs of concept, build technical champion communities, and provide structured mentorship to support the wider team.

•Work with 1–5 clients as the main technical voice and lead customers through evaluations and adoption of Databricks.
•Implement account-specific technical strategy in close understanding of overall customer strategy.
•Build and expand a movement of technical champions within target accounts.
•Align technical strategies around Databricks solutions and support the broader team with structured mentorship.
•Partner with hands-on resources to drive proofs of concept and demonstrate Databricks products.

Salary: USD 180,000 - 247,500 annually

Key Requirements

•5+ years experience helping very large (>$1m ARR) Retail and CPG organizations become more data-driven.
•3+ years in a pre-sales capacity or supporting sales activity.
•Technical background in big data, data science, and cloud.
•Experience driving data-driven business transformation and change with data.
•3+ years designing and implementing big data technologies (Hadoop, NoSQL, MPP, OLTP, OLAP) or full lifecycle data science solutions, plus production programming in Python, R, Scala, or Java.
