Key Responsibilities

•Provide legal advice on EU product compliance, consumer protection law, advertising, and creator marketing for online marketplace activities.
•Provide legal support on EU intellectual property rights (IPR) matters and broader marketplace governance issues.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams (policy, operations, product, enforcement) to ensure consistent and effective compliance practices.
•Act as a key point of contact for marketplace governance and user experience teams in the EU.
•Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing strategic and tactical priorities in a high-growth environment.

Key Requirements

•Solid experience in-house and/or at a reputable law firm working in IP, media, technology and/or e-commerce fields.
•In-depth knowledge of EU laws applicable to e-commerce platforms, digital marketplaces, and the retail sector.
•Strong familiarity with EU regulatory frameworks including the Digital Services Act (DSA), General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR), and EU market surveillance rules.
•Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
•Experience handling regulatory inquiries or investigations and/or IP rights experience in a marketplace context is desirable.
