Key Responsibilities

  • •Integrate new log sources into the SIEM (network, endpoint, identity, and cloud telemetry) while meeting quality and compliance standards.
  • •Support MDR onboarding by enabling systems, assets, and log streams to provide visibility and align with threat detection use cases.
  • •Create and maintain parsing and field extraction logic to normalize logs against common data models.
  • •Develop scripts and automation tools for onboarding, data transformation, health monitoring, and alert enrichment.
  • •Validate and optimize ingested log data through monitoring/QA, and contribute to scalable, resilient pipeline architecture for high-throughput ingestion and indexing.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • •7+ years of experience with SIEM platforms, log engineering, and security operations support.
  • •Leadership skills to lead juniors and enhance team capabilities.
  • •Experience advising on department growth and direction, plus project management and planning capabilities.
  • •Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and strong understanding of log formats (syslog, JSON, CEF) and network protocols; MDR/SOC-as-a-Service onboarding is a plus.
