Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage end-to-end development of prototypes, samples, and special orders for women’s formal footwear from design launch to showroom delivery.
  • •Partner with Design to interpret creative direction, attend fittings, provide product feedback, and support solutions that protect the design vision.
  • •Collaborate with Technical teams and suppliers to resolve development challenges and keep stakeholders updated.
  • •Build and maintain relationships with vendors, understanding capabilities, availability, and ways of working to support business needs.
  • •Track prototype, sample, and component orders, maintain accurate PLM data and sample trackers, and support delivery against critical path, quality expectations, and cost targets.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in footwear product development, ideally for women’s formal footwear, including construction methods, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • •Ability to translate design intent into clear briefs for internal teams, technical partners, and vendors.
  • •Commercial awareness, including understanding product costs, margin considerations, and budget requirements.
  • •Comfort working with vendors and factory partners, including on-site collaboration where required.
  • •Confident using PLM and Excel, with English language skills at B2 level or equivalent.
