Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead Embedded, one of Production Engineering’s two teams, delivering against Canva’s most important production challenges.
  • •Coach and develop a senior-weighted group of engineers by setting direction, creating psychological safety, and giving direct feedback.
  • •Partner across teams outside your reporting line, earning trust and shaping technical decisions through influence.
  • •Help define the team’s evolving operating model—what problems to take on, how engagements should work, and how success is measured.
  • •Turn engagement learnings into reusable engineering practices, patterns, and capabilities that scale across Canva.
