Key Responsibilities

  • •Advise managers and employees on HR policies and procedures, assist HRBPs with organizational initiatives, and ensure compliance with internal/external requirements.
  • •Handle employee relations matters by analyzing investigation data, supporting action plan development, and applying discretion in sensitive HR decisions (e.g., FLSA determinations, promotions, salary, special payments).
  • •Support operations management with HR policy adherence, employee performance coaching, documentation, and other employment actions.
  • •Provide support for legal requirements tied to day-to-day employee management to reduce legal risks and ensure policy and labor law compliance.
  • •Collaborate on project communication strategies and contribute to workforce planning activities (e.g., work team reorganizations, succession planning) while staying current on HR practices and California employment laws.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of relevant experience in human resources or an equivalent role.
  • •Strong analytical and organizational skills with business acumen to bridge HR and operations.
  • •Working knowledge of HR disciplines, problem-solving, and advancing HRBP objectives.
  • •Ability to communicate effectively with HR and non-HR audiences and work with minimal supervision.
