Senior Research Engineer leading development of high-density electrical power systems for next-generation aircraft. Key Responsibilities

•Develop and execute technology research plans within agreed time and budget requirements
•Generate innovative concepts through technical excellence, experimentation and creative thinking
•Design, build and test hardware prototypes and control strategies in lab environments
•Lead significant parts of research projects or complex technical subsystems
•Translate complex technical ideas into clear reports, presentations and recommendations

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a PhD with relevant academic or industrial experience, or a Master’s degree with strong relevant experience and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a related field.
•Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power electronics, converter control or high-voltage technologies
•A practical, experimental mindset with enthusiasm for hands-on research and lab-based development
•The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within international teams
•Strong communication skills, including the ability to present complex technical work to varied audiences
