Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform daily payroll activities to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing for assigned payrolls.
  • •Respond to payroll enquiries using systems or third-party resources to explain pay, adjustments, and impacts of policies and tax law changes.
  • •Work with an offshore payroll team to facilitate knowledge transfer and support team payroll activities.
  • •Support UK payroll processing by completing tasks, documenting exceptions/outstanding items, and completing sign-off schedules for review.
  • •Review and reconcile Payroll Interface reports from Workday and work with the payroll vendor to ensure accurate payroll delivery.

Key Requirements

  • •Graduate from a recognized university with 1-2 years of relevant experience in UK payroll operations.
  • •Good understanding of statutory & labor laws and interpretation of awards and legislation, including tax.
  • •Proficient working knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • •Comprehensive working knowledge of payroll systems and ability to research and resolve payroll and tax withholding issues.
  • •Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while handling confidential payroll and HR information and meeting turnaround times.
