Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate and monitor power generation units through DCS, SCADA, PLC, and other control systems.
  • •Maintain safe and efficient operations by monitoring plant parameters and taking corrective actions.
  • •Coordinate with field operators and shift supervisors during routine operations, start-ups, shutdowns, and emergencies.
  • •Identify equipment abnormalities, perform initial troubleshooting, and raise maintenance requests.
  • •Maintain operational logs and shift handover reports while executing SOPs and supporting isolation/restoration activities under LOTO and Permit to Work.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • •Minimum 4 years of experience as a CCR Operator or Control Room Operator in a CCGT power plant, thermal power plant, or water desalination plant.
  • •Experience operating DCS, SCADA, PLC, and other plant control systems.
  • •Experience with plant start-up, shutdown, troubleshooting, and power generation operations.
  • •Strong knowledge of power plant operations, safety requirements, and HSSE/quality awareness, including ability to interpret trends and alarms.
