Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead factory cost conversations across materials, trims, and BOM management to maintain costs aligned to financial objectives.
  • •Build and maintain yearly development schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met with pre-production tracking and reporting.
  • •Develop products and review prototypes for quality and brand aesthetic, ensuring alignment with minimum order quantities and the line plan.
  • •Conduct cost negotiations with domestic and international factories and vendors through the product lifecycle, including costing rollups and cost sheets.
  • •Travel as needed to oversee manufacturing QC and ensure factory compliance with audit policies; recruit, hire, and onboard vendors and team members.

Key Requirements

  • •4-6+ years of experience in product development, design, or production in garment manufacturing.
  • •Extensive knowledge of raw materials and garment construction.
  • •Experience working and communicating with domestic and international manufacturers and vendors.
  • •Proven leadership and ability to supervise peers through the development process.
  • •Familiarity working with a PLM system and ability to demonstrate skills through a costing exercise.
