Key Responsibilities

•Provide estimates for engineering budget and schedule on large projects
•Lead structural engineering/design investigations and analyses on mining projects
•Serve as lead structural engineer or discipline lead on mid- to large-size projects
•Perform and oversee advanced structural analyses including 2D/3D finite element modeling (FEA)
•Coordinate and direct staff on designs, specifications, drawings, figures, reports and calculations on multi-discipline design efforts

Travel: Medium travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 130,000 - 190,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
•Registration as a Professional Structural Engineer (SE)
•Valid U.S. Driver’s License
•Preferred: 10+ years of relevant experience; PE in CO/NM/UT/AZ or ability to obtain; Experience with STAAD RAM Elements AutoCAD Revit BIM; FEA; knowledge of seismic design; on-site field experience
