Job Summary

Senior Risk Consultant (PMCM) leads risk management assignments on UK infrastructure projects, delivering client-facing risk deliverables, supporting project leaders, and contributing to the development of WSP’s risk practice across highways, rail, energy, and other sectors. You’ll coordinate risk registers, report to project risk managers, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams within a UK-wide Risk Management function.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide expertise in risk management on projects and workstreams, using minimal input from Principals/Associates/Directors.
•Develop and present client risk management deliverables; engage with stakeholders to implement corrective actions in line with organizational processes.
•Support project leaders in the successful delivery of projects.
•Provide regular risk status reports to project and risk managers, advising on contingency management.
•Establish and coordinate a register of risk management activities.

Key Requirements

•Expertise in all aspects of project risk management facilitation.
•Experience building simple cost, schedule, and business risk models using ARM, Primavera Risk Analyser, Safran Risk, Predict, and Xactium.
•Knowledge of risk management techniques.
•Knowledge of project management and project control processes.
•Experience working on infrastructure projects in sub-sectors such as rail, energy, highways, aviation, defence or utilities.
