Job Summary

Lead a solution engineering team that partners with account and sales managers to drive the technical stages of the sales process for State and Local Government customers. Deliver ArcGIS expertise, mentor solution engineers through coaching and feedback, and present complex solutions to enterprise decision makers. Translate GIS capabilities into business value, craft strategies aligned to customer needs, and design presentations and configuration guidance for technical and non-technical audiences.

•Manage the technical activities of a solution engineer team across all stages of the sales process in partnership with account and sales managers.
•Mentor solution engineers through active coaching, clear direction, and regular feedback; build a virtual team to support sales objectives.
•Present, demonstrate, and support selling Esri software and solutions with the account team; lead technical meetings that drive revenue.
•Serve as a technical leader and ArcGIS expert; develop complex solutions for strategic customers using advanced sales strategy understanding.
•Craft and propose GIS-centered solutions that clarify business value; design presentations and provide configuration guidance and best practices.

•Broad IT-context knowledge of ArcGIS (hardware, software, storage, security, networking, servers, databases, web services, virtualization, cloud computing).
•Demonstrated experience in technical consulting/solution design and actively participating in a sales process.
