Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform set-ups and product changes and operate slitter controls to meet specifications
  • •Observe slitter operation and adjust and make minor repairs to correct deficiencies
  • •Coordinate slitter operations with crewmembers and assist as needed
  • •Cut and remove finished drums of tape and splice to a new drum; use overhead hoist and upender to move drums
  • •Follow safety rules, maintain clean work area/equipment, maintain records, and report quality and maintenance problems to supervisor
