Job Summary

Verify production processes, packaging, and food safety by monitoring operations, paperwork, and operational sanitation. Perform documentation, inventory control, and release of hold product, ensuring specification compliance for labels, lot codes, and materials. Enforce GMPs and support microbiological sampling/swabs at correct times and locations while assisting production teams to solve quality issues. Work in compliance with company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines, and applicable laws.

Key Responsibilities

•Verify production processes, packaging, and food safety while monitoring operational sanitation.
•Maintain proper documentation, inventory control, and release of hold product.
•Verify labels, lot codes, bags, boxes, and pallets are correctly adhered, printed, sealed, and stacked.
•Verify receiving of incoming raw materials and ingredients; notify leadership if specifications are not met.
•Ensure microbiological swabs and samplings are performed at correct times and positions, and help enforce quality and food safety policies.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 20.5 - 21.5 hourly

Key Requirements

•Minimum 1 year experience in quality assurance or 6 months as a Wayne Farms employee.
•High School Diploma or equivalent.
•Intermediate math skills and computer skills.
•Detail oriented.
•Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbal and written (multiple languages preferred).
