Job Summary

Observe the fabrication of precast concrete structures and reinforcing cages to ensure compliance with Oldcastle standards and production drawings. Perform daily testing of concrete specimens and conduct pre- and post-pour inspections. Maintain detailed records, report quality concerns and process improvements to production and management teams, and write corrective action reports for defective products. Help ensure the QC program is implemented in Kenosha.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform daily testing of concrete specimens
•Conduct daily pre- and post-pour inspections of products
•Maintain records of observations for each structure produced
•Report quality concerns and process improvements to production, engineers, and management; write corrective action reports for defective or damaged products
•Ensure correct implementation of the QC program in Kenosha and assist the sales team with customer complaints about product quality

Key Requirements

•Must have QC experience in a related industry
•ACI/PCI certification preferred, or required to pass ACI Concrete Field Testing within 3 months and maintain certification
•Basic computer skills
•Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members
•Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. periodically and walk extensively in an industrial manufacturing environment
