Job Summary

Design, develop, integrate, test, deliver, and evolve electromechanical solutions for next-generation autonomous unmanned underwater vehicles. You’ll support the full product lifecycle, work across a multi-disciplinary integrated product team, and assess mechanical designs for user value, manufacturability, reliability, reusability, and iteration. •Support the full product lifecycle: designing, prototyping, manufacturing, integrating, testing, and delivering integrated electromechanical systems.
•Navigate a dynamic solutions trade space across external constraints, evolving requirements, timelines, and quality in a multi-stakeholder environment.
•Contribute in a multi-disciplinary integrated product team, providing technical input to teammates across backgrounds.
•Critically assess mechanical solutions for end-user value, cost and manufacturability, delivery timeline, reliability, reusability, and iterability.
•Interact with end-users for feedback and incorporate it into technical solutions, including traveling to support integration and test activities.

Salary: USD 129,000 - 171,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or a relevant field (or equivalent experience).
•4-8 years of professional experience as a Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineer across multiple technologies.
•Capacity to work holistically on complex robotic systems across design, implementation, operation, and sustainment.
•Capacity to act as the technical contributor for a complex subsystem, including requirements definition, roadmap management, coordination, and evolution.
•Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
