Key Responsibilities

  • •Own cloud hosting architecture (network segmentation, routing, private endpoints) and operate container orchestration, autoscaling, and persistent storage.
  • •Manage content delivery, object storage origin, and load-balanced routing for independently deployed services.
  • •Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code with automated security scanning and reliable release/promotion/rollback procedures.
  • •Implement security configuration aligned to control baselines, including identity/access control, policy guardrails, secrets, encryption, and authorization boundary evidence collection.
  • •Provide monitoring/alerting, backup/recovery, incident response (including after hours), and document environment behavior and recovery procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •Hands-on experience owning and operating cloud infrastructure in regulated or government environments.
  • •Production experience with container orchestration, including cluster configuration, autoscaling, and troubleshooting.
  • •Experience maintaining CI/CD pipelines with automated security scanning and defining infrastructure as code.
  • •Experience implementing identity and access control, secrets management, and encryption in transit and at rest.
  • •Active Interim Top Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship; on-site work at a Washington, D.C.-area government facility.
