Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with engineers, designers, and drafters to perform electrical substation structural design for foundations, structural supports, and control building design.
  • •Support substation physical design with bus analysis calculations and coordinate results with multiple disciplines.
  • •Prepare calculation packages to meet client, code, and WSP requirements.
  • •Coordinate with all disciplines contributing to electrical substation design and ensure plans meet client and WSP standards.
  • •Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and provide construction phase support as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (or closely related discipline), or equivalent experience.

  • •Knowledge of structural engineering principles, practices, and process for design/build project work.
  • •Familiarity with infrastructure planning, design, and construction management, including modifications to existing infrastructure and new design.
