Key Responsibilities

  • •Learn and follow safety procedures for set up and operation, including lock-out/tag-out, and maintain a safe work environment while adhering to Tyson policies.
  • •Assemble, inspect, and operate mixing/blending and line equipment as designed; verify equipment cleanliness and mechanical readiness before set up.
  • •Monitor product quality and keep outputs within specifications by making necessary adjustments and troubleshooting machinery while informing maintenance as needed.
  • •Inspect raw materials for contaminants and report discrepancies to Quality Assurance; minimize losses of raw materials and other materials used.
  • •Maintain and submit required paperwork (downtime, weight, raw material usage, product loss, specifications) and complete QA and HACCP documentation, including accurate data entry into CAT2/ROSS systems.

Key Requirements

  • •6 months work experience operating production machinery in a manufacturing facility, with 6 months of work history in the past 12 months.
  • •Knowledge of safety procedures and the ability to follow instructions reliably in a manufacturing environment.
  • •Ability to accurately account for raw materials and complete QA checks and documentation.
  • •Ability to read and comprehend written/typed instructions for item formulation and follow GMP/sanitation standards.
  • •Ability to perform physical requirements, including lifting up to 100 lbs repeatedly and pushing a mixing bowl (~600 lbs) on wheels.
