Job Summary

Join the Product Security team as an embedded security partner, helping engineers secure Lime’s software, APIs, mobile apps, and connected vehicle platforms. You’ll drive secure development and application security reviews, build automation for vulnerability and dependency scanning, contribute to security architecture/design reviews, support BugCrowd bug bounty operations, and participate in on-call incident response and continuous threat monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

•Partner with engineering teams to perform security reviews, threat modeling, and risk assessments for product features, APIs, mobile apps, and backend services.
•Develop and maintain security tooling and automation to improve vulnerability detection, dependency scanning, and security testing across the SDLC (including CI/CD gates).
•Contribute to security architecture and design reviews, evaluating authentication/authorization, API security posture, and data handling practices.
•Support BugCrowd bug bounty operations, including triage, researcher communication, remediation coordination, and validation of findings.
•Serve as a product security point of contact for incidents, contributing to investigation, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and on-call response.
•Document issues and improvements to reduce recurring incidents; provide occasional after-hours/weekend/holiday support while on call.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 120,000 - 165,000 annually

Key Requirements

•5+ years in product security, application security, or security engineering with hands-on contribution across the software development lifecycle.
•Expertise in detection engineering, security monitoring, or detection-as-code pipelines (e.g., SIEM, log analysis, alert tuning).
•Experience with vulnerability disclosure and/or operating a bug bounty program.
•Experience integrating security into SDLC (SAST, DAST, SCA, secrets management) and vulnerability management tooling/processes.
•Knowledge of authentication/authorization patterns (OAuth, OIDC, RBAC), plus exposure to mobile security and cloud/container security (AWS, GCP).
