Key Responsibilities

  • •Own revenue accounting to ensure accurate monthly and quarterly financial close.
  • •Maintain revenue recognition policy for all revenue streams in accordance with ASC 606 and review revenue determinations on customer contracts.
  • •Manage the Revenue Operations team and ensure revenue close activities are completed timely and per company policies.
  • •Manage credit and collections to ensure timely collections and mitigate credit risk.
  • •Develop and maintain internal controls, complete revenue controls per SOX documentation, reconcile revenue GL accounts, and support audits with technical accounting matters.

Key Requirements

  • •CPA preferred with experience at a Big 4 or next tier public accounting firm.
  • •Significant knowledge of ASC 606 and related guidance for revenue recognition in a high-tech software company.
  • •Understanding of SOX requirements in a public company environment.
  • •Experience working with sales organizations and customers in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • •10+ years of relevant accounting and revenue recognition experience, plus 7 years of leadership and people motivation experience.
