Job Summary

Support ocean engineering programs for the Surface Radars & Sensors Center in Portsmouth, RI. You’ll perform system performance evaluations and deep analysis, develop and implement solutions across disciplines, and create documentation for formal testing reviews. Own integration, verification, and validation testing/reporting to ensure systems meet specifications, while debugging system functions and interfaces. Expect onsite work and domestic/international travel up to 15%.

•Perform system performance evaluations and in-depth analysis to identify opportunities for functionality and system enhancements.
•Work across disciplines to develop and implement innovative solutions to complex challenges.
•Create/modify documentation for reviews tied to formal testing and communicate results to leadership and stakeholders.
•Perform integration, verification, and validation testing/reporting to ensure the system under test meets specifications/requirements.
•Travel up to 15% to support customer events (domestic and international).

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a STEM degree and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.

•Experience with system software, system hardware, system requirements and/or test.
