Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and implement quality inspection recipes to produce reliable inline signals of tool and process health, improving yields and product quality.
  • •Implement project and improvement plans for efficiency, cost reduction, quality improvement, and new product support.
  • •Perform lot and equipment dispositions to support continuous silicon flow and minimize cycle time in high-volume 200mm/300mm wafer fabs.
  • •Identify systemic and acute process/equipment problems, communicate findings to engineering teams, and drive continuous defectivity/DD reduction improvements.
  • •Drive process and device improvements through characterization, test, DOE, data analysis, and simulation while collaborating across integration, reliability, packaging, and test engineering teams.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 90,000 - 159,500 annually

  • •Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
  • •2+ years of experience as a yield enhancement engineer in the semiconductor industry, taking devices from development to production on schedule.
  • •Fundamental knowledge of semiconductor processing and integration.
  • •Experience developing inline defect inspection methods, defectivity/DD reduction, and SPC methodologies.
