Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the technical direction for key services/components, including architecture, data flows, API design, scalability, resiliency, and performance.
  • •Drive engineering best practices such as coding standards, testing strategy, documentation, design reviews, and maintainability.
  • •Lead team delivery of roadmap commitments with strong quality controls, risk management (dependencies, technical debt, resourcing), and engineering metrics.
  • •Establish and improve CI/CD, automated testing, quality gates, and engineering metrics (e.g., DORA, defect rate, SLOs).
  • •Improve production excellence through observability, capacity planning, incident response, RCA with measurable actions, and ensure operational readiness for releases.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems (or equivalent practical experience).
  • •5–8+ years in technology roles with hands-on delivery experience, including software/platform/integration/technical lead work.
  • •Experience working in regulated financial services with strong attention to risk and controls.
  • •Experience supporting production systems, including on-call/incident support and RCA/problem management.
  • •Strong technical depth across system design, debugging, performance, secure coding, and API integration (REST/JSON, versioning, idempotency, error handling).
