Key Responsibilities

  • •Complete technical ownership at system level from design concept through manufacturing release, meeting performance, reliability, cost, and schedule targets.
  • •Lead mechanical design, analysis, and development of mechanical components and parts for next-generation wearables.
  • •Create SolidWorks CAD models and associated design documentation, including 3D files, 2D drawings, BOMs, and Engineering Change Orders.
  • •Drive end-to-end DFM coordination across multiple vendors and manufacturing methods to enable high-yield production.
  • •Design validation plans and testing protocols, perform root-cause analyses, and provide mentorship and best practices.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years designing, documenting, and validating complex mechanical parts for medium to high-volume consumer electronics.
  • •5+ years of SolidWorks CAD experience, including part design/feature architecture and advanced assemblies/configuration management.
  • •5+ years implementing CAE tools in mechanical design, including finite element analysis (static/dynamic) and thermal simulation.
  • •Experience working with Tier 1 and 2 contract manufacturers in Asia and North America.
  • •BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
