Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise, implement, and monitor pipeline welding activities per inspection plans, procedures, and international standards during offshore/onshore construction.
  • •Coordinate with engineering, QC/NDT, certifying authority, and welding/equipment leads to ensure timely production readiness and clearance.
  • •Manage welding readiness (procedures, stations, qualified welders, consumables/spares) and review planned welding cycle time to guide execution.
  • •Troubleshoot technical/quality welding issues, implement corrective actions focused on welding parameters, and maintain strict control of welding-related variables.
  • •Maintain accurate welding records and daily reports (welder records, repairs, downtime, station timing, certifications), and ensure compliance with MDR HSE and QA requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma, with preference for a technical qualification or trade certificate in a relevant field.
  • •5-10 years of hands-on pipeline welding experience, preferably on offshore projects, including at least 2 years in supervisory roles.
  • •Knowledge of automatic or semi-automatic welding machines.
  • •Proficiency reading technical drawings, Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), and inspection plan documents.
  • •In-depth knowledge of pipeline base materials (e.g., carbon steel, CRA clad steel) and argon purging/related practices.
