Job Function: Transportation & Fleet Operations

Key Responsibilities

  • •Work all scheduled shifts as assigned by the Head of Department.
  • •Strictly adhere to hospital regulations, including infection control, patient safety, and OSHMS requirements (e.g., SHA, JCI, ISO).
  • •Support Continuous Quality Improvement and participate in quality assurance activities for the service.
  • •Participate in scheduled in-service training and follow hospital policies and procedures.
  • •Carry out safe cargo-handling and road-transport practices, use PPE, follow emergency/evacuation procedures, assist with risk assessments, and cooperate with Pharmacy to meet OSHMS requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent.
  • •Valid UAE driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • •Knowledge of the local road network and routes within the UAE.
  • •Good physical fitness and ability to lift and carry medical supplies as needed.
  • •Attention to detail and accuracy in handling medical products; knowledge of medical/pharmaceutical terminology is a plus.
