Job Summary

Join the Earth & Environment team in Chelmsford, MA to assist with multimedia human health risk assessments for air, water, soil, and biota. You’ll use Excel to analyze data, learn regulatory requirements, contribute to risk assessment reports, and support proposals and stakeholder communications on government and commercial projects within a collaborative risk practice.

Key Responsibilities

•Contribute to risk assessment reports as part of project-specific teams.
•Extensively use Microsoft Excel to analyze chemical data and calculate human exposure risk.
•Learn and use standard risk assessment spreadsheet tools.
•Document risk assessment activities, including data evaluation, chemical selection, exposure and toxicity assessments, and cancer/noncancer risk calculations.
•Conduct quality assurance/quality control activities for work products and manage work within budget and schedule requirements.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's Degree in Toxicology, Biology, Public Health, or related scientific discipline
•0-1 year of relevant experience in human health risk assessment
•Knowledge of the principles and standards of scientific study
•Familiarity using Microsoft Excel for the presentation of data, calculations, and data evaluation
•Strong technical writing skills
