Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead cross-functional project design teams and direct preparation of project documentation.
  • •Define engineering approaches, planning, and scheduling, and ensure projects complete within budgeted time and cost constraints.
  • •Execute design and development tasks to maintain the product line and develop solutions for complex customer applications.
  • •Initiate and prepare specifications while maintaining cost awareness; develop and maintain detailed project schedules with resource management and milestones.
  • •Track and execute the design process (specifications, risk assessment, design quality assessment, design for manufacturing, design information control, verification, and documentation) according to ISO and Eaton procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
  • •5+ years of engineering experience in an industrial setting or manufacturing environment.
  • •No relocation is offered; candidates must currently reside within a 75-mile radius of Arden, NC (Active-Duty Military exempt).
  • •Basic electrical understanding for electrical clearance, magnetic forces, and relevant standards for MV class equipment.
  • •Must be capable of writing trade/technical articles, presenting papers, and preparing patent disclosures.
