Job Summary

Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe environment in a federally contracted ICE residential facility. Perform routine cleaning, housekeeping, sanitation, and facility upkeep tasks, including floors, restrooms, common areas, dining/kitchen areas, and linen handling. Conduct inspections, report hazards and maintenance needs, complete cleaning logs and compliance documentation, and follow health, safety, security, and infection control procedures in a fast-paced 24/7 operation.

Key Responsibilities

•Clean, disinfect, and sanitize assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, common areas, and workspaces.
•Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors; empty trash and restock restroom consumables and linens.
•Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, food service, and dining areas in line with sanitation requirements.
•Conduct routine inspections and report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, damage, and unsanitary conditions.
•Complete cleaning logs, inspection reports, inventory records, and maintenance requests while following all health and safety regulations.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 15 hourly

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED required.
•Minimum 1 year of custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or related experience.
•Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, and safe chemical handling procedures.
•Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and complete required documentation.
•Ability to obtain and maintain required background checks, clearances, and credentials.
