Lead the engineering vision for Coinbase’s Payments platform, defining multi-quarter strategy across payment rails, orchestration, and transfers. Architect and evolve globally scaled, high-availability, low-latency funds-flow services with an emphasis on cost efficiency and financial correctness. Drive large cross-team initiatives, establish technical standards for idempotency and reconciliation, and use observability data to improve reliability and performance while mentoring senior/staff engineers.
