Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide cost advice and commercial support for reactive services and project-based works, including developing cost models and reviewing/pricing proposals.
  • •Manage change in line with contract requirements and ensure milestone payments and final accounts are achieved against business targets.
  • •Support resolution of supply chain queries, monitor supplier performance, and manage payments per contractual and company policy.
  • •Work with Area, Site, and Project Managers and stakeholders to ensure commercial processes are understood and followed.
  • •Attend risk meetings, review risk registers, support dispute avoidance/resolution, and ensure commercial activity complies with statutory, H&S, sustainability, and governance requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Solid commercial experience in construction, property maintenance, or facilities management, including cost planning, tender preparation, change management, and risk analysis.
  • •At least four years’ experience in the FM or construction sector, with experience across multiple concurrent works and larger schemes.
  • •Comfort working across concurrent priorities with strong attention to detail and commercial control.
  • •Understanding of health and safety requirements and completion of health and safety awareness training.
  • •HND or Foundation Degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent experience); professional membership/chartered status (RICS/CIOB) is desirable.
