Key Responsibilities

  • •Improve the design↔engineering workflow by creating shared language, clearer handoffs, and faster shipping around the design system.
  • •Set the quality bar for components and patterns, pressure-testing them by building and prototyping (ideally with agents).
  • •Define the semantic layer that scales: component naming, usage rules, and decision guidance for humans and agents.
  • •Drive adoption across the design org by creating standards and workflows that make usage the default.
  • •Own documentation and QA workflows, including AI-assisted checks for consistency, accessibility, and correct component usage.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 160,000 - 260,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years in product design with deep experience building design systems using tokens, component APIs, and a single source of truth in code (not only Figma).
  • •Experience contributing meaningfully to components, patterns, tokens, governance, and adoption of a prior design system.
  • •A systems thinker who prefers building scalable things used by many rather than shipping isolated features.
  • •Strong design taste, able to diagnose issues (spacing, motion, interaction states) and explain what works and why.
  • •Clear communication and cross-functional drive to document rules and lead adoption across teams.
